The GenCon reports are starting to drip in. Gamespy has one on AC - Dark Majesty, telling us a little bit more about this upcoming expansion pack:

Houses will have hooks and storage chests in them, the number of which will vary according to the size and type of building. Only the owner can place and remove items on hooks, but they can allow any of their friends to access the storage chests, if they so choose. They can also choose whom to allow into the house, but just because you can get in doesn't mean you can access the chests. They are on two separate lists that the homeowner will have available.

Players need not worry that individuals will snatch up all of the huge mansions either since the initial price of the house is only one aspect of owning it. The maintenance fees on the big suckers will be such that mostly only those who have large guilds will be able to keep one for long. For most of us, though, a smaller, more reasonable size home will be sufficient. Only one house will be available per account, per server, so you won't have people buying 15 houses on a world unless they have 15 separate paid accounts.
