Here´s the introduction: Gothic 2 is a 3rd person fantasy role-play game. The story continues right where Gothic 1 left off. The player defines his character not on a screen at the beginning of the game but during the first hours of the game as it runs. By the choice of one of three groupings each with different continuing destinies (Magician, Henchman, Dragon Hunter), that influence and alter the course of the game. The idea behind the role-play is the key to the game. The main game elements comprise the collection of items, dialogs and missions, battles against monsters, discovering the world and strengthening self-character.
