RPGDot Game Rating Machine

ender has rated the following games:

Arcanum - Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura: 6/10 points

A role-playing game with quite an interesting setting, huge game world, and dwarves with guns (how cool is that?), however it falls short in polish, and the weak combat system.

Baldur's Gate: 8/10 points

A modern classic in RPGs, while it has flaws, it is definately worth the trip.

Baldur's Gate 2 - Shadows of Amn: 8/10 points

A massive, epic, sweeping continuation of the best selling Baldur's Gate series. A multitude of side quests to complete as you carry along with the main story arc, however I Felt it fell a little flat in the end, and left me in a state of boredom.

Betrayal at Krondor: 7/10 points

Solid RPG, with story by the great Reymond Feist, this game has intrigue, action, and sadly a stale engine (yes, even for it's time).

Deus Ex: 9/10 points

One of the most interactive, and multi-path immersive sim/action-rpg games created. With a twisting story line, and great gameplay this game is an instant classic.

Dungeon Siege: 4/10 points

Beautiful looking game that lacks overall depth, and adictive fun that the Diablo franchise was so known for. Definately a flop.

Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 10/10 points

One of the most reactive RPGs created. The post nuclear setting is always fun, and the ability to play how you want is a welcome thing (and should be explored as deeply in more RPGs) - one of the greatest games ever created.

Fallout 2: 9/10 points

Taking the great gameplay from falling, creating a larger world, but killing the retro feel with lame pop culture references, Fallout 2 stands as an above average RPG.

Icewind Dale: 9/10 points

Richly crafted hack 'n slash with many tactical elements. The look and feel of the gameplay, I feel, is far more polished than any of the Baldur's Gate titles. The gameplay never slows down, and you're always on your toes. Definately a gem.

Planescape: Torment: 9/10 points

An incredible work of creativity, while slow at points, the intricate story will always keep you coming back for more. However, large amounts of text maybe a turn off to some.

System Shock: 10/10 points

A masterpiece of immersion and terror. Hacker...

Thief - The Dark Project: 10/10 points

The masterpiece of the immersive sim genre. Creating a thick atmosphere, involving story, and completely immersive gameplay - Thief stands as one of the most impressively crafted games on the market.

Ultima 7 - The Black Gate: 8/10 points

Classic RPG, lots of freedom and a great setting. One of the best in the Ultima series.

Ultima Underworld 1 - The Stygian Abyss: 9/10 points

A masterpiece, ground breaking, one of the best games of all time.

Wasteland: 9/10 points

Classic role-playing game, great setting (which Fallout was based off), characters, and nice box art! =)

Wizardry 8: 5/10 points

Classic styled RPG, delayed for a couple of years. When finally realesed, it didn't quite affect me as it might have several years back.
