9 out of 10, this is the very positive rating for Anachronox in a review at The Gamer's Press. Their summary is reprinted here:

That having been said, the positives that Anachronox brings to the table FAR outweigh the frustrations of its endgame. For 25 solid hours, you will be treated to a wonderful sci-fi story with an incredibly funny and entertaining cast of characters. Throw a few very unexpected twists into the mix, and you wind up with a game that gives you your money’s worth – even at twice the price. It’s a shame that it looks like there won’t be a sequel, because the gaming community definitely needs more quality entertainment such as what is found in Anachronox. I’ve been gaming for almost 20 years now, and Anachronox is a title that will stay etched in my brain for some time to come. It’s all about FUN… and Ion Storm’s swan song delivers in spades.
A second review of Anachronox can be found at Gamespot UK. But it's basically a reprint of the Gamespot US review on July 16th - so if you have read that one, don't bother yourself with the english one :-)
