Here's a bit: So what's so special about these new zones? Well, they go a long way to remove some of the more tedious, time-consuming aspects of the game. One of the zones, the Plane of Knowledge, will act like a huge central hub for EverQuest. Characters from level one to level 60 will be able to teleport from points all across the game to this zone, which in turn will allow them to cut down on the amount of time spent traveling large distances. Want to get from Freeport to Cabalis quickly? No need to take a dull boat ride, or wait for an unreliable wizard to pick your smelly troll-ass up anymore. Simply head to Freeport's portal stone, warp to the Plane of Knowledge and find Cabalis' portal stone. Boom. You're there in three easy steps.
