Here's something concerning "character" creation: First, you start the game choosing your class. I'd say race, but it seems all the characters are radically different decedents of mankind. They are each referred to as Terrans, Progen, and Jenquai. However this is less important than the chosen class you wish to partake in; Warrior, Tradesman, and Explorer. From here, you choose a ship that matches your career style. Warrior ships are designed with firepower in mind, while trader ships have larger storage room for trade, and explorers are a balance of both. There are other ships as well with different pluses and minuses. Once selected, you can customize the way your ship looks through a set of possible body configurations, and your own color style complete with decail. Beyond this, you also can customize the way your character looks, as though it's from some sort of wrestling title. The complete combination of person plus ship is unique in the game world, which is a nice touch compared to other online RPG titles.
