An excellent review of Minions of Mirth has been posted at Gameplasma. Here's a brief snip.

The most unique, incredible part of this game is the amount of freedom that has been offered to the players: You can create your own servers, and in them, modify items, areas, and monsters to meet your own interests. With the amount of play already built into the game, you can add endless hours of more enjoyment for yourself or even others. You can set up a server for others to play on with you, but to be dictated by your own rules and regulations. There is nothing better than to be in control, and Minions of Mirth is letting you do just that.

Read it all Here.
