GamerGod has tossed up an interesting article that looks at questing in D&DO from a party perspective. Here's the intro to set the scene:
Since we looked at combat last time, this time I’d thought we’d look at DDO’s questing system, where most combat will take place. Instead of looking at the various issues and functions in a more formal style, we’ll take a look at it through a fictional story of DDO’s questing system from the point-of-view of a sample party. Please Note, the quest was made up especially for this article and is not in DDO. Descriptions of the characters and what they do in the quest are italicized for easy separation of the story and the description.
