Darkfall: NOT Taking Pre-orders Yet @ Official Forums

The Darkfall staff is warning fans that there are no pre-orders for the game at the moment, despite the fact that some online retailers appear to be taking them. Darkfall doesn't even have a release date yet, so be warned...
It has come to our attention that Darkfall is being offered for pre-ordering on various sites.

This is happening without our consent and cooperation. We have not offered Darkfall for pre-order. Any information on these sites about the retail version of Darkfall is pure speculation.
