A preview of Lionheart from E3 has been posted at RPGVault today. Here's a bit about BIS's upcoming RPG:
The game take place about 400 years later, in a world where witchcraft is now common place and where real historical events have been altered. An example is that the English defeated the Spanish Armada with dragons rather than ships and gunpowder. Another change is that the rift in history occasioned by Richard has created four distinct races, not totally dissimilar to their standard fantasy counterparts of Elves, Humans, Dwarfs and Halflings.

The graphics system is quite unique, with Reflexive having opted for a 2D world mixed with 3D models, using a graphics engine called Velocity. Specifically, the backgrounds in the world are highly detailed 2D, while the player characters are 3D. This combination allows more weapons and items to be onscreen while using less memory since it limits the number of variations to be created and viewed. The graphics are crisp and skilfully drawn, although not revolutionary.
