Billy "Wicked" Wilson (formerly Voodooextreme) is back on the scene (his new site was down for ages due to server problems), and he's back with an interview with Bethesda Softworks at gaminggroove (no specific name given, but chances are that Pete had to do this again *g*) about Morrowind. Here's a bit:
GG: If there's one thing that annoys me in a game of this type, it's that when you attack an enemy, they don't flinch or react to your action but with a simple "oof" or similar sound. Being that you guys are using a skeletal animation system, can we expect some form of inverse kinetics to take place when a blow is landed on the enemy?

BS: Yes, you will see a reaction from enemies when they take damage.

GG: Can you tell us about the versatility of Morrowind using the construction set tools? Such as changing some aspects of the game and sharing it with the other Morrowind owners out there. What can we expect to see from the community using these tools?

BS: I think you'll see a variety of things. People will obviously use it to cheat like hell by dropping the most powerful armor and weapons where they can easily find it. Beyond that it will vary. Some will create cool weapons or armor for others to buy or use. Others will build some cool dungeons. A few industrious, talented folks will build whole areas of gameplay...new islands to sail to and explore...that kind of thing.
