RPGDot Game Rating Machine

Wastelander has rated the following games:

Elder Scrolls 3 - Morrowind: Bloodmoon: 9/10 points

Its Morrowwind... on crack. And thank god for that because once you hit level 30 morrowind dies, I mean as in you can make EVERYTHING die at level 30 on the main continent. Solsheim however is a whole different story. Cold, desolate frontier and horribly perilous to even the most experienced of adventurers. Designing a new town was the coolest experience ever in a game. Dude was all like "A black smith or a general store?" I was like "DUDE!? Could you repeat that, I think you just gave me an interesting set of options." Longstory short being level 40 here on harder difficulties is like being level 10 on the main continent in the bowels of a sixth house base with a loincloth and dagger... no a fork (there is a quest where you use a fork to kill a monster). The added monsters and difficulty actually had me flee from combat on several occasions to survive. I enjoy it when a game can do that to me. One problem though is the snow. I am not sure why but when the blizzards start it suddenly turns my monster of a machine into a drueling moron. Still, much better then the tribunal expansion and more interesting (IMO) then the main game.

Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 10/10 points

It allowed me to be a post apocalyptic Jesus with a wide array of weapons. Or I could just be some whack job with a drug addiction and some serious violent tendencies. Though it had bugs, it was great and I still have it installed and I still play it simply because... I like guns and killing innocent people... Okay just kidding but this is a really good game and mayhaps the best I think tied for the greatest game I have ever played with fallout 2.

Fallout 2: 10/10 points

In Fallout I got to be a post-apocalyptic jesus with a wide array of guns. In Fallout 2 I got to make my second coming, and by god the world was not ready for me. My first character a pyromaniacal machine gun wielding Jet addict. My second character... Hermes the mentally challanged hulk (many wouldn't try the kind of character who has an inttelligence less then 4 but it offers some unique experiences). This game was great. It had machine guns, mutant freaks, brown water, grave robbing and a cool pair of sunglasses(I'm not kidding the sunglasses are in their). This was and is an amazing game... Although I do have one unsolved mystery: how do you get to those 2 mysterious footlockers way in the northern part of Broken mills?

Fallout Tactics - The Brotherhood of Steel: 9/10 points

I just love this game as well as its counterparts. More games should come up and smack us out of our high fantasy thrones and say to us "Hey, their is more possibility to an RPG then just magic swords and skinny little elves. Here's a landmine, there's a machine gun wielding supermutant go try something cool." I am not a tactical RPG fan most of the time and this one stood out to me. It gave us an interesting look at the east coast of post apocalyptic war north america which was a welcome change from the Californian thing. The post mission commentaries were funny with the general's blatent disregard for the lives of non-essential and/or non-BOS life. The hazmat suits look amazing when you run around with a flamethrower (you look like a bunch of GI's on a biological hazard containment mission). And while despite it's less Falloutish appearance I think the game deserves more credit. It did after all give us a wonderful supplementing look into the underworkings of the BOS and I hope that when Fallout 3 does arrive that it will have factions that are even half as detailed. For its flexability of options in combat and for showing me fun and interesting new uses for combat enhancing substances I give this a 9. -1 becuase it managed to crash me on a mission I had just finished while I was walking towards the exit grid on tough guy mode.
