A new interview with Jeff Grills - Technical Director, Grant McDaniel - QA Buildmaster, Raph Koster - Creative Director, and Arnie Jorgensen - Senior Concept Artist about Star Wars: Galaxies has been posted at SWG Warcry. Here's a short excerpt:
[Tark] What has been the high point, for you, when testing Star Wars Galaxies?

[Grant McDaniel] There are two high points that stand out for me. One is the first time I was able to login to the game and actually start to "play" it. Up until that point we had only been able to test pieces of the game: just the chat system, basic combat, basic crafting, etc. But one day all the pieces finally came together to begin to form a "real" game. Not only was this rewarding after months of hard work, we also got to have some fun in the process. The second point that stands out for me is the first time I was able to go to Theed, the capital of Naboo. I started out just outside the steps of the capital building, which was amazing. After getting lost for 10-15 minutes, (yes, the city is that big) I found my way to the very hangar where the Episode I duel began. Like many of our settings it looked like it had come straight out of the movie.
