RPGvault has posted up a short first impressions of GPG's/Microsoft's action RPG Dungeon Siege.

Here's a snip I agree with very much :)

Although I've always valued gameplay far above visuals, it's difficult if not impossible to avoid noticing the latter first. And in this regard, Dungeon Siege makes an exceptionally positive first impression. Starting with the initial screenshots released two years ago, the visuals have always been highly impressive. Naturally, this has led to high expectations with respect to the full game. Although I'm only part of the way through, it's safe to say I have not been disappointed. The graphics up to now have been uniformly first-rate, from the various areas I've seen to the characters, monsters, spell effects, lighting and more. If you thought the screenshots looked good, you'll be very happy with the game visuals since they look even better.
