Loadedinc has put up a review of 'Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring'.
Comparisons with Warcraft III and War of the Ring will of course be made but then again much of Warcraft III is borrowed from Tolkien's ideas. In War of the Ring there are two sides, the dark side which follows the mighty Sauron and the Light side which comprises of the many heroes we have come to know and love from the LOTR series. The Light side features all the familiar characters from the books, Gimli, Gandalf, Frodo etc and for the evil amongst you Gollum and even the mighty Saruman . Each of these units can be classed as hero units with special powers and abilities to unleash in battle. Over time these characters will level up and can be brought back to life should they die in battle, which is just as well, a dead hero is about as much fun as a week in an Orc holiday camp.
