Unlike the EQ expansion packs on PC, Frontiers doesn't require the original EQOA game disc in order to work. All of the data from the original is included on the Frontiers disc and players will be able to access all of the game areas -- old and new -- with Frontiers. This means that new players will not miss out on anything and old players can simply continue the game with their already levelled-up characters. There is no need to start anew unless you want to try your hand at playing an ogre, a new race introduced specifically for Frontiers.
