About a month and a half ago, Sony Online Entertainment released its ninth expansion for Everquest, called Dragons of Norrath. First impressions led me to think that the reason for such an expansion about dragons is an attempt to rekindle the excitement of fighting dragons from the original game and the expansions, Ruins of Kunark and Scars of Velious. And why not, in the other expansions, the players have killed every boss mob in every city, the gods the characters worship, and even the leaders from an alternate dimension in Gates of Discord and Omens of War. What else can they kill? More dragons!
