A new RPG is in the making: Wasteland Wolf. Developed by russian company Digital Geckos, it will be a game in the Fallout tradition. Here's a bit from the FAQ:

QUESTION: What genre will be of chief project, "Wolf..."?
REPLY: Role game like Fallout, with changed RPG-system.

And how that will be looked?
16-bit color, 800õ600 and 1024x768, isometric in Fallout's style. Characters are done in 3D. World has drawn in 2d and rather greatly animated.

How big will be the game?
The amount of cities is about 10, apart from small locations. But territorial sections are three - Nevada, California (central part of Fallout 2) and one more interesting locality. Hint - it's state too.

If there is exist global plot, or not? And how is it nonlinear on the whole?
There is only one central assignment exist (and not three, for example, how it's in Fallout 1). But for it achievement it will be necessary to accomplish some binding quests (for example, you could not complete Fallout 2 not getting Tanker's FOB, while there was not global quest, it's believed). Naturally, you are not being able to accomplish them with your initial forces, it will be necessary to study environs and its population.
