GamePen has written a review of Dungeon Siege, and their rating is four out of five stars. Here's a bit from that one:
The environments are beautiful and yet they're unobtrusive. Gas Powered Games made an interesting decision to forego clipping control, so the player's party can appear to be in a thick forest, yet never have to worry about getting tangled up in trees or thickets when path finding. It's in retrospect a good design choice that affords great convenience for the players and the developers, and gives the added benefit of good system performance at the expense of the slight loss in suspension of disbelief.
