Some of the Withered Aegis' Lieutenants have gone renegade. Should the Withered Aegis learn of their folly in letting the location of the Satyr caves be discovered, it would mean certain doom to the Lieutenants. In an effort to prevent the Living Races from learning more, the Lieutenants have ordered heavy patrols around the Satyr caves to disrupt the mining operation and potential freeing of the Satyr.

Major forces have been seen gathering for a full assault on frontier towns. Without stomping out the Living Races the threat to the continued subjugation of the Satyr is at jeopardy. Rumors have abounded that the Lieutenants themselves are leading these forces.
