Jagged Alliance 2: 10/10 points |
Such a unique RPG. On one hand it is a strategy game, and yet the character interaction and story really do push it into the RPG genera. I loved this game and still play it now and again. Everytime I play it I always wish that there was a D&D setting using this strategy format for combat. The combat is AMAZING. The interupts and skills all work together so well. My biggest hope is that The Temple of Elemental Evil that Troika is doing will be a D&D version of JA2; a deep story driven RPG that has combat as strategic and intricate as JA2. |
Planescape: Torment: 10/10 points |
Planescape Torment had the best NPCs that I have ever had the pleasure of fighting side by side with. Annah, Dak'kon, and Morty felt like real people to me. You could talk to them, ask them questions, and they actually learned more as the game went along. I will never forget this game because the writing, story, dialog, and NPCs were just fantastic. This ranks with Ultima VII for great memories for me. |
Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption: 9/10 points |
This was a great game. Very difficult at times due to some control issues, but I am playing it again right now and it still has so much great atmosphere. The graphics are better than many games that are coming out now, and it is a few years old. A really great game that strives to capture the ambiance and eerie feel of a great vampire setting. |
