After playing the demo, Cosmos Gaming's Chris Dahlberg has this to say re Legendo's upcoming adventure, "The Three Musketeers"...

Surprisingly, up until now there has never been a game based on The Three Musketeers. But now a new Swedish game developer is about to change all that with a family friendly title based on the license.

One of the first things that demo players will notice is that the game has a very striking look to it. The Three Musketeers resembles a comic book in every way; whether you are watching a cinema or playing the game, you will see the influences. Every story scene in the game is exquisitely animated and unlike other games, there is actually a decent amount of animation in them. Once you start playing the game itself this graphic trend continues. TTM is a side-scrolling platformer/action game, and the camera will scroll around to show off more of the level as you move along. So far the visuals appear to be very well done, and as long as Legendo makes sure that none of the background and foreground objects obscure the view of the character, then things should be excellent.

Gameplay is very simple but fun to play nevertheless. Basically you maneuver your musketeer around, collect coins and keys, and take out plenty of enemies while avoiding other obstacles. Although the game seems to be designed with a fairly younger audience in mind, gamers of all ages should manage to have fun with it. I am a bit concerned at this point that the game could get a bit repetitive if the entire game becomes a collect-a-thon, so hopefully Legendo has considered this factor while developing the game.
