IGN has conducted an interview with Obsidian Entertainment's Feargus Urquhart. In it, Mr. Urquhart speaks of Obsidian's past, its current status and the future of the company. We can also expect that Obsidian will divide its efforts among console and PC titles. Though Feargus and his crew love PC games, the market just isn't good enough for publishers to want to take risks on them. They'd rather give you $12 million to make a console game than pony up a measly $5 million for a PC game. If Obsidian has three games in production, Feargus predicts that two of them will be primarily console oriented with a third focused more on the PC market. Naturally, Obsidian will release the same title on multiple platforms so gamers who only own a PC or a Xbox 360 or PS3 won't be totally left out of the action. Several photographs of the Obsidian headquarters and staff have also been posted. Head over to IGN to read the rest. | Source: IGN |
