Gaming Horizon has slapped up a review of Snowblind's/Sony's 'EverQuest'-based PS2 RPG 'Champions: Return to Arms'. Score: 7.4/10.
Champions: Return to Arms is the sequel to original Champions of Norrath, a game that borrowed heavily from the Baldur's Gate series in terms of mechanics, gameplay style, and environments. It also stemmed a bit from Sony's EverQuest series, with the inclusion of races/classes tailored to the traditional EQ status-quo. And then just to liven it up, Snowblind Studios threw in some enticing visuals, an intriguing plot, and a functional, if not irksome, online mode.
