The Neverwinter Vault has reviewed 'Shadow from a Soul on Fire', another fan-made module for BioWare's AD&D-based 'Neverwinter Nights'. Rating: 8/10.
Some NWN modules offer good roleplaying. Some offer endless exploring. Some offer hordes of monsters to kill. And some modules, some modules just want to tell a story. "Shadow from a Soul on Fire", the latest effort by Chris Huntoon, and the sequel to "A Halo of Flies", very clearly falls into the last category. "Shadow" is all about storytelling, and it succeeds gloriously in that aspect, while offering a fairly good gameplay experience at the same time.
