A preview of the next Matrix Online patch is available at the official site, due to go live on the 27th. Here's the major features: * Chapter 2.1 missions are now available for all Organizations.
* Crafting an Item or Ability Code now costs $Information equal to the 1/10th the Vendor price.
* Compiling Items in the Loading Area now costs the same as Compiling them in game (1/10th the Vendor price).
* Players' affiliated Organizations now appear above their RSI when their PvP flags are on.
* Players can now use the /orgnames command to view other players' organizations.
* Players can now select the option to always display other player Organization names via the Options panel.
* Tough- and Boss-level NPCs that con-grey no longer give XP. (They still give loot drops.)
* Bug preventing players from equipping weapons when they've met the requirements has been fixed.
* Enhancements on items that still had Combat Tactics upgrades on them have been modified to other bonuses.
* Loot drops are now appropriately adjusted for the con-level of a defeated NPC. (Higher con gives better loot than lower con.)
* Launcher can now institute a quicker recovery patch instead of always doing a full system check when a patch problem is found.
* Players will now receive some XP for participating in missions they have already completed if they are part of a mission team with players who have not completed the mission before. (They no longer have to be the mission team leader.)
* Improvements have been made to avoid players being unable to negotiate with servers.
* Options preferences are now saved correctly when changed by players.
* Players can now toggle the UI on and off. (Default hotkey: Ctrl + U)
* Items now stack correctly in the Code Archive.
* Players can now generate a ZIPped CCR abuse report that can be attached to a petition by targeting a player and doing one of the following:
o typing /report in the chat window,
o right-clicking a player's RSI and selecting Report Abuse from the menu, or
o right-clicking a player's name in the chat window and selecting Report Abuse from the menu. |
