Chris Taylor: We talked a lot at the beginning about how we wanted to use these characters and story elements. These characters are the core of this game-world. We wanted to use them, but we had to make sure the characters won't interfere with the fellowship. Secondary characters like Barliman Butterbur, Tom Bombadil, Elrond, those people have very specific locations within the world.
