Last week
Kytel experienced his first Ancestral Quest. Despite the fact that he failed to complete it successfully, the Oracle had still revealed the location of a new Shard to House Shroud. Kytel is eagerly hoping to join the adventuring expedition. He has decided to make his way to the Palace of the Houses and talk to the House Shroud Ambassador as the Oracle disciple advised.

When Kytel arrives at the Palace the fountain square is filled with bustling activity and the air is tense with excitement. He enters House Shroud's quarters to look for the ambassador. The embassy halls are crowded with Shroud members eager to be part of the expedition. When Kytel finally enters the great hall, the ambassador is just finishing his speech. "House Shroud is counting on you all. Because of your actions, the Oracle has granted us the chance to grow in power and status. Be warned though; the journey ahead is not to be taken lightly. Entering unknown territory is not without danger. Those among you who are brave enough to venture out on this expedition must be prepared to sacrifice themselves for the good of the House. Go now, prepare and come back tomorrow at first light."

Kytel left the embassy. Although he was already quite prepared, he knew he would feel a lot better about this if he had some sort of protection against whatever the unknown might be. He decides to look for a potion shop and ask for further advice.
