The review of Grom at Gamespy isn't the one you'd like to see as publisher or developer. Their rating is a devastating 38%, and the conclusion says "stay away!" with more elaborated words:
And so it goes with Grom. The control is poor, the AI is ridiculously inadequate, the graphics are stuck at a low resolution and are fairly uninteresting, and the game as a whole just doesn't work. There are some good ideas here, but it seems as not a single one of them got fleshed out. Instead of painting a masterpiece of a game, the developers went out and bought the paints, the brushes, and the canvas, but then no one knew what to do next. It might be a nice finger-painting by a four-year-old child on the refrigerator, but it certainly holds no value to most others.
