It's been a while since we saw an Asherons Call 2 review but Game Club Central has stepped up to the plate. Their score is 8.4/10 and here's a snip:
And finally development, unlike many other MMORPG games, AC2 does not sell 'expansion' packs. Turbine/MS has dedicated the game to the players and as such release monthly update patches. The patch while including the usual bug fixes, toon tweaks, and minor changes, also includes a 15-40mb storyline addition, with a planned content roll out over 3 years. The continual evolution of the game in this fashion drastically cuts down on the 'drudgery' factor found in many games by people on a low budget, and offers new quests and dungeons to all levels of player in the game.
