The folks from Gamer's Pulse have more or less slaughtered Pixel's Chinese-themed action RPG 'Blade & Sword' in their review. Rating: 18/50.
You’re in ancient China, an Emperor is doing something evil or maybe it’s a demon or ancient evil or something—anyway, it’s up to you to stop it. See how bad translation can hurt a concept? Well, in Blade & Sword, what thin little bit of story there is, isn’t very well translated into English, leading to plenty of confusion. What does come across is the game’s unabashed replication of role-playing gameplay as found in other, better titles. Bringing to life an interesting concept of ancient Chinese martial-arts role-playing, Blade & Sword unfortunately doesn’t fulfill the desire for such a game.
