Here's a snip: While I find this game a blast to play, and I am not trading my copy for quite some time, I have to admit some disappointment in the Diablo team. I feel this should have been the original release of Diablo II, and an actual expansion should have followed. The overall tone of the game is one where the programmers have realized the game could have been better. They decided to release a second version, but did not want to admit they forgot certain things in the original, so they called it expansion and expected gamers the world over not to notice. Sorry fellas, but we did. The detailed review is worth a look, even if you have read lots of them before :-)
