RPG Vault has conducted an update interview about Duplex' SciFi MMORPG 'Face of Mankind' with Marko Dieckmann, Managing Director at Duplex Systems and Christian Winter, Project Manager Online Gaming at publisher Ojom GmbH.
Face of Mankind is developer Duplex Systems' persistent state game set in the 24th century. The German-based studio has placed a strong emphasis on a story element that players will reportedly be able to influence and change. Within this context, there are 10 varied organizations characters can join. They may be classified into three groups; the ones introduced above represent the Global Dominion, multinational and clan clusters respectively. Just last week, it was announced that development has progressed to the point where the open beta test phase has been scheduled to begin late this month. This highly encouraging news makes it particularly appropriate that we were able to track down Marko Dieckmann, the Managing Director at Duplex Systems, and Christian Winter, Project Manager Online Gaming at publisher Ojom GmbH, to bring us right up to date on their endeavor.
