The overall rating is 8/10, and this is their conclusion: Freedom Force is just oozing style and atmosphere. It does what it sets out to do and is unforgiving in its vision. Irrational knew many of their limits and milked the super hero aspects for all they are worth in order to make an average combat system sometimes deep and involved. I for one think it was worth the price of admission just to run around with Batman and defeat the forces of evil!
