Though we've already written a few hands-on previews of EverQuest 2, this past weekend marks the first time we've had lots of long-term, unsupervised playtime with the game. We've decided to bring you a complete look at the newbie experience, seen through the eyes of one particular character. After downloading the 3.3GB client (apparently at the same time as every one else on the internet to judge by my download speed), I fired up the game and started monkeying with the character creation tool.
