Great Game, Great history, the LAN option i really nice! does anyone knows more RPG games with the LAN option? i'm tired of searching through the web but i can't find a Site that helps on this matter.. thx! :) |
Pirates!: 7/10 points |
A decent game that has a lot of replay value. The music is decent but gets annoying after a while (but you can turn that off). The graphics when on the sea are good, in town even better. However, I did find a bit of a downside, you should have the option to disable the aging and retirement features. I managed in my first quest to complete all but the hidden city, romance, family and villian quests. I noticed that once you find the 10 buried treasures there doesn't seem to be anymore to find. Becoming the #1 pirate was fun, but once I managed that he was in poor health and I had to retire him. I found all 18 special items and killed the top 9 pirates to become #1. As for control, the fighting sequences could have been more of a 3d fighting style like Dead or Alive. As for the dancing portion....that's just plain weird.... |
