Second Life: New FUnding Secured @ Gamasutra

Gamasutra is reporting that Second Life has secured a new round of funding, this time coming in with $11 million in new money.
The company intends to use the money to fund “aggressive international expansion” with German and Japanese language versions, and for additional hiring needed to boost its infrastructure from its current 70 employees to at least 100.

Good news for fans, as it seems that Second Life isn't going anywhere...
