A mini-review written after a day's play of Final Fantasy 11 has been tossed online by Evil Avatar:
I stayed up all night playing Square Enix's new MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI. What makes Final Fantasy XI worth playing all night to a jaded EverQuest and Ultima Online veteran like myself?

First of all is the graphics. The characters and world are much more detailed than you will find in EverQuest or in Star Wars Galaxies (whose 'generic' Sci Fi levels and models send ripples of fear through the Force). This is Square's strong point and they don't spare the polygons.
