GamersInfo sends word that they've a preview of Mythic's latest MMO offering, Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.For years now Warhammer fans have been waiting for a Warhammer MMO. Ever since the cancellation of Games Workshop's first effort to create a Warhammer Online in 2004, fans have been waiting with bated breath to see what if anything would happen with the license. Then last year amid much excitement came the announcement at E3 2005 that Games Workshop had reached a deal with Mythic Entertainment to develop Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Spring forward to E3 2006 and a small booth in the back of the West Hall and here we find the product of one year's work by Mythic, and I must say I am impressed.
We were ushered in the Mythic’s booth by PR representative Eddiemae Jukes. Here we first were given some time to play around with the game client and I must say for eight months of work it looks amazing! We were taken around a small area designed around the Orks with a variety of quests and many of the more familiar critters associated with the Orks.
