A very original setting for any computer game. Mixes time travel with Jules Verne, all in Ultima style: lots of dialogues, interesting characters, world interactivity, cool plot.
Only the endless walking between places could become very boring. |

Clever and original game using the U6 engine. This was much better than Savage Empire, with a great plot featuring famous figures from history thrown together on a journey to Mars. (Yes, a bit hard to swallow, but lot's of fun, nonetheless). Wandering around the vast, desolate surface of Mars was only sore spot. |

The best ultima ever. Sure ultima 7 had a great story and all, but come on, it can't beat roleplaying on Mars. And the plethora of historical figures makes it what edutainment should be. We want a sequal nowwww. |

I love all ultimas but this one was especially great because of the setting. The most innovative game in a long time, it was.

Martian Dreams was a dream come true.
If they had used that tagline the game would have sold as much as it deserved too, truly a gem. Too bad its the hardest ultima to find. |

Fun game, and Mars was creatve too... The only thing that really doesnt stand up to todays standards are the graphics, but the plot and setting more than make up for that. |
