The rather-busy GamerGod has an interview with Radu Privantu, the Project Leader and Creator of 'Eternal Lands':
GamerGod: How many people currently test Eternal Lands and, so far, what is their general feedback?

R. Privantu: At this time, the record number of players online (at the same time) is 351. However, not everyone plays at the same time, so I would say maybe 2000 play the game every week (and come back to it). So far, we have about 14K registered accounts in only 5 weeks (we had a server crash 5 weeks ago, when we lost all the accounts). Their feedback is generally good. Of course, you can never make everyone happy, and there are always things you can add to the game, so every once in a while some players complain about various things, others suggest new things, and so on and so forth.

But, like I said, most of our players do enjoy playing, otherwise they would move to other games.
