A detailed review of Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty can be found at HarwareZone. Rating is 4 out of 5 stars, and their conclusion is fairly positive:
One great thing about Dark Majesty is that it's a constantly evolving world, where you get this notion that you may not always see the same things again (if you hang around long enough) and that new things (like the Bael'Zharon encounter...that was a BIG event, almost as BIG as Godzilla walking into New York, and the Virindi appearance) will spice things up for you. However, like all MMORPGs, you have to have the patience and perserverance to stay on in the game. If you play alone, it can get pretty boring, so drag a friend or a relative to participate with you, adventure together and the experience would be much more fulfilling. Though the changes in the expansion are expected (nothing out-of-the-ordinary) - such as housing and a new land mass - what's unique is that this expansion includes the full version of the game itself (others do not). Think about that. |
