Capping a big day of previews and media releases, Gamespy has chalked up their preview of Spellforce 2, the upcoming RPG/RTS release. They have this to say:
There's one thing that's certain: SpellForce 2 should be a graphically impressive game. The engine has seen a very serious overhaul in this sequel, and every aspect of the graphical presentation benefits from it. Every environment that we've seen looks like it was hand-built, with very few recurring props, and character models that are very detailed, given the sheer number of them onscreen. Environmental effects run rampant in the demo that we have, and down to the tiniest details, everything looks painstakingly detailed. The game has a soft focus to it, not unlike Guild Wars, which lends everything a very slick ambiance. In short: you certainly won't be disappointed by how the game looks.
Gamespy has a lot more complimentary things to say about Spellforce 2. Head over to Gamespy for a peek.
