RPG Vault has posted the second part of their interview with Mirage Interactive's Producer Pawel Kalinowski to discuss the alternative World War 2 RPG, Weird War:Jonric: How significant a role will quests or missions play in Weird War? Will there be very many? Can you say anything about the various types in the game or about specific ones?
Pawel Kalinowski: The game includes quests, which are directly connected with combat, but most quests tend to focus more on adventure. Quests and combat complement each other, but of course, the player can't move ahead in the game without completing the most important quests. I would say that combat plays a more important role. The ratio between quests and combat is about three to one.
Most quests are fairly standard ("I'll give you what you want if you give me what I want"). There are few quests in which the player is supposed to inhume somebody, but there are also very interesting quests, which are very different from what might be considered as standard, such as delivering love letters between lovers. |
