Another very positive review of 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic' for XBox is up at Gamer's Pulse. They awarded BioWare's/LucasArts' single player RPG their "Seal of Excellence" and a score of 47 out of 50 points.

Here's a clip:
The game is supported by a pseudo-turn-based combative system derived from the Dungeons and Dragons rule set. Ingeniously, battles simultaneously achieve an active and a strategic element; action gamers and hardcore pen-and-paper role players are served equitably. Though battles may progress uninterrupted once initiated - with each of three party characters acting autonomously according one of three player determined routines – action may be paused at any moment to manually issue commands. Micro and macro management, functioning correspondingly to the balance established among action and strategy, offers variant play styles. Once more, one need not be an RPG addict to derive satisfaction from KOTOR.
