Final Fantasy VII: 1/10 points |
Really more of an adventure game than an rpg. The linear storyline (point a to point b, point b to point c, etc...) made this a thoroughly unenjoyable game for me. Plus, the absolute lack of world interactivity, the static NPCs, the horrible dialogue... shall I go on? :) |
Sea Dogs: 9/10 points |
A few problems with the engine in towns, as Halfdane said, but overall, this game is amazing, especially considering it has been released in the present state of the gaming community, where linear plots abound. Sea Dogs lets you take the storya t your own pace, and many times in a non-linear way. With that, the great graphics, and incredible sea battles, who could ask for more? |
Ultima 5 - Warriors of Destiny: 10/10 points |
Definitely the best Ultima ever, if not the best Roleplaying Game out there. The plot was involving, and the world seemed realistic, but not so realistic that you weren't required to use your imagination. That was the best part about the early Ultimas. |
Ultima 7 - The Black Gate: 10/10 points |
Absolutely the best experience I've had on a PC. The world interactivity is really where this game shines, but that's not it. The plot, the characters, everything comes together for this definitive RPG. |
