The third RPG related E3 article at Gamehelper is a preview of Neverwinter Nights. Here's a bit from that:
Every little itty bit of Neverwinter Nights is fully customizable. I’m not just talking about character creation either, though customization plays a huge role in that too. From the editor you can manipulate character interaction, creature spawning, dialogue, hostility, what each character will look like, what spells they use, what tendencies these characters will élan towards, what triggers will instigate this, etc etc etc. It may seem too dense for the normal everyday Joe to wade his way through the thousands upon thousands of, but that’s where BioWare steps in to make Neverwinter so flawless and accessible. Each option in the single player and editor can be delegated to the “recommended button.” The computer will then step in and choose the optimal route for your character creation or the best place for a particular monster. In essence, or if you just like to do things fast, a map on the editor and populated with a customized items, monsters, objectives, dialogue, and other surprises can be created in minutes. I saw it done before my eyes.
