ZenGamer has meditated a bit over SOE's 'EverQuest' based RTS 'Lords of EverQuest' but it looks like they didn't find it too enlightening as they awarded it a mere 6/10 points in their review.
In 1999, Sony released what would become the granddaddy of North American MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games). EverQuest was (and still is) an enormous critical and commercial success, spawning a whopping seven expansions and boasting the highest American subscription numbers of any MMORPG to date. EverQuest has been spun off into action figures, made its debut on consoles with the PS2 version, and at long last has made the jump to a totally different genre with Lords of EverQuest. Lords of EverQuest is a traditional RTS (real-time strategy) game that attempts to bring the colorful world of Norrath to a different type of gamer.
