The Scrying Room has posted an developer profile for Pool of Radiance - Ruins of Myth Drannor. They talk to Garrett Graham, the producer of PoR. Here's a short bit:

Us: What were the circumstances that led to your getting into the game development industry?
GG: A friend of mine that I played Magic and Champions with was the QA supervisor at SSI. He’d been bugging me for months to come be a tester, but the pay was wretched. Still, being a waiter was so bad that I finally took him up on his offer. My first game was Dark Sun Online! I worked my way up through lead tester, senior tester, production assistant, associate producer and now producer. Due to numerous buy-outs, I’ve worked for SSI, Mindscape, The Learning Company, Mattel Interactive, Gores Technology Group and Ubi Soft without ever changing jobs. One of my coworkers notes that working here is like being on the Enterprise: each week we land on a different planet and try to make sense of the inhabitant’s strange customs and rituals.
