There is a site update at the Camelot Herald, written by Prducer Matt Frior. Here is what it says:

It's January 2nd, we're all recovering from a week of too much food and holiday cheer, and getting back into the swing of things here at the office. Of course the CS team was on the job all through the holidays - but we Developers had a much-needed holiday break. Now that we're back, we are preparing for the next patch, which should come late next week.

This version of the game will address more Realm vs Realm combat and spell issues, as well as add some more spice to classes that desparately need it (such as the Blademaster and Mercenary). We'll also finish out the items on Mark's list - the one that he posted six weeks or so ago. See my previous note here on the Herald for a more itemized description of what we're working on.

FYI, our user base is rising steadily by the day, helped by a big jump just after Christmas Day - no doubt many Camelot boxes were wrapped under Christmas trees until that day. On a recent evening, we just topped 37,000 simultaneous users.

We'll keep you posted here on the Herald as the new version comes together - check back here for updates on the new features that are coming.
